capitalism. money money money. i'm a nobody in the sport but I still know what the foundation was all about. now there are super matches where the same two guys pull a set amount of matches and once u figure out a guys hand, uve got him. styles make match ups and traditional tournaments place one man against many whom have different hand sizes and styles. it makes the best rise to the top to beat everyone in his or her weight class. not just beating one hand or style. now there are contracts where we are to sign in order to get all the proper earnings we receive by being apart of a specific organization. it just plan sucks because unless your gonna pay me a large sum of money like a pro football player or basketball player for just preforming then in my opinion why would anyone care about signing any contract. its really more negativity to the sport because why train hard on the east coast and spend tons of money training, eating properly and traveling just for a measly grand at the most for first place to a ual tourney on the west coast. also, remember, u have to be a ual member to get all that first place money if u do win. television is the key to the sport growing right now. armwrestlers wont come out of the wood work to begin in a great sport the way some of the promoters are promoting the sport. gas is almost 4.00 dollars a gallon in some places and more then that in others. the price promoters are asking makes it just not worth it to train hard to be the best. if i'd like to pull certain guys then why limit my first place earnings based on me not being apart of a specific organization. that money some what makes it a little worth while to go from coast to coast. most people aren't born wealthy for even given the same opportunity to make a fortune. always remember, your not gonna be a millionare armwrestling. just train hard and go after who u think are the best. to be the best u have to beat the best.
