It's would be great to have as many results here as possible so you don't need to search all over FB trying to find them. The problem starts with the board moderators allowing people to post tournaments and not post results. It's such an easy fix, no results from your last tourney then you can't post your next one. If you've got time to post your next tourney then you've got time to post results. ????
I used to check in at least once a week, mostly to get results. It only upset me because the #1 rule of posting tournaments is that you'll agree to post results, which almost never happens anymore. I'd be more than happy to help moderate to get the offenders to post results or I'd remove all their future and past tournament post.

Trophies collect dust, take up too much space and end up getting broken. With a medal, it can either be displayed or put in a drawer. Olympians get medals. Every trophy I've ever won I removed the engraved plate and donated to schools to give out to the kids. I have kept the medals though, first off because they are usually engraved and can't be reused.
Since it's a charity I would think the main goal is to get as much money as possible to your charity. Medals are less expensive and spending extra money on trophies seems counter productive and goes against the true reason for having the tournament, to raise money for your cause.
