You are right. My response to Dixon was totally rude and uncalled for. Truth is, i had way to much to drink the other night and i tend to get that way when i do. I have sent Dixon a sincere apology for what I said. I hope you guys wont hold it against me.

"Pure religion before God and the Father is this to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep yourself unblemished from the world" James 1,27. No disrespect Dan but it is not religion that ruins everything but people. It is true what Ryan says that war and politics revlove around religion, but that was not God's intent but rather mans wrong use of God's good gift!
Your Word have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against You Psalm 119:11 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil by doing good" The words of Jesus

first, in today's world i think you should first define religion as you see it and so many people, (Opera for example says there is No GOD only the collective of all humanity and that is religion), so with that said i think there are many topicsthat can be discussed without religion but there is notheing without the word of GOD not even hell.

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway.
